Hey, angelia, what are you doing? What's going on? Nothing. What's in that script?
Speaker 2:Oh um that is, you signed an NDA. What An NDA.
Speaker 3:I can't tell you, or I'd have to kill you.
Speaker 1:But then you could like kill me and then cast Ray's dead and then tell me anyway, right, that's no, I'm a druid.
Speaker 3:That joke doesn't even make sense. Okay, fine, just please, please.
Speaker 1:I mean I know it has something to do with this book. It's so pretty like everyone got a copy except for me.
Speaker 3:Look, it's just kind of like an if-you-know-you-know thing, I know.
Speaker 1:Yeah, great. Where is she even coming from?
Speaker 3:Like I just don't want to spoil it for you. It's going to be a really fun surprise. Just go, You'll find out at intermission.
Speaker 1:Fine, I'll wait.
Speaker 4:Hey, where's my copy of Candela?
Speaker 3:Yeah, right here, We'll see you all at intermission. In the meantime, enjoy the finale of this Equest. She's going to kill me. Give it back.
Speaker 4:Welcome to Thisy Quest Our adventures. Oh gosh, where do I begin? You look like a waste bin. They came to Vihar, the continent we are on Reminder.
Speaker 6:What reminder.
Speaker 4:Kitty party.
Speaker 6:That's right.
Speaker 4:Kitty party.
Speaker 6:That's correct.
Speaker 4:Kitty party yeah that's yeah, absolutely.
Speaker 2:Oh, this is Priya's correct Kitty party. Yeah, that's yeah, absolutely. Oh, this is Priya's week. We learned from Priya about her past expeditions. Oh, yes, I know about the mountain.
Speaker 1:You know about Raktipa? Oh yes, Did I say that right?
Speaker 2:And that there is a goddess who normally comes down and that kind of ushers in a harvest festival.
Speaker 4:But she hasn't come down, and so the harvest festival has been delayed. You have a visitor to your group, this Namir person. Yes, he used his bone to acquire you all magical invitations to go on an airship, and they make boats. Now I don't have job anymore, okay, I don't have job anymore Okay.
Speaker 4:Now they hijacked the airship which was supposed to go in a different direction and found themselves in a jungle with these two sisters. They found themselves trapped inside the Crooked Sun Fort, but the party is split. They have traveling with them a young witch streamer.
Speaker 3:I'm Natasha, natasha, everyone, this is Natasha.
Speaker 4:Who cares? She tried to befriend a ghost in order to make her videos better, but this ghost turned on the party and things went south. I don't get violent, I get even.
Speaker 6:We got out and we were met by a familiar face. Our very good friend Priya was traveling through and bringing with her a new companion by the name of Nori.
Speaker 4:I must admit, when I first saw you I thought she has a giant stick, stick up my ass.
Speaker 3:Yes, that's quite a common phrase. We started to talk with these goblin folk who showed up on crazy phase spiders. We tried to negotiate with him to give us some mounts, and he did.
Speaker 4:You made it to Silgar, we did make it to Silgar With all your limbs attached.
Speaker 3:Yes, as all of this was happening, we were about to make our big plan and we found out that there were nefarious people working around in the marketplace, and so we desperately attempted to thwart these nefarious folk, but unfortunately the ritual the ritual that one of them was casting as we had been hearing the lamenting wails of Silselan from atop the mountain, all of a sudden that whale stopped. I don't think there's much time.
Speaker 4:I think you must go to the summit.
Speaker 7:This is it, everybody. This is the fight, thank you. You know what I'm going to do. I'm going to stand in between. I want to be a meat shield, a decaying meat shield, for Mirka. I'm going to stand in front of him.
Speaker 4:Okay, you're actually placed there now. Great, so it's perfect.
Speaker 7:So I'll stand exactly there and I stare daggers into Rakan's eyes.
Speaker 4:Okay, that's my turn. Amazing Ash, you're up.
Speaker 1:What have we seen S Salon. What actions have we seen her perform so far? She's taken a turn, right or no? No, she has not. She's unconscious. She's unconscious. Okay, I want to inspect the potion.
Speaker 4:Yes, upon inspecting it, you surmise it's the same one that Mirka got and that consuming it would restore a spell slot upon the rolling of a d4.
Speaker 1:In terms of the balance of power that's happening right now are we feeling like this is grave.
Speaker 3:I mean, that does not look great.
Speaker 4:Help her this can't get much lower.
Speaker 3:She'll, she'll, she'll. We gotta save her. Okay, you have to save her we gotta save her.
Speaker 7:Okay, you have to save her. I say out loud Okay.
Speaker 1:So Ash sits to the ground again, taking palativa, and he prays, he channels what he's heard from his parents Om Sanav Matu, om Sanav Matu, sanav Matu, and he casts Sanctuary on Sosalani. Okay, perfect, ah, um, warding her against additional attacks. Yes, I'm hoping that's gonna be helpful to her.
Speaker 4:It's got a range of 30 feet, so I think you can move and potentially so it's 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, if you can get here, Because what's your movement's 20?
Speaker 7:Yeah, my movement's 20.
Speaker 4:So you could go. If you go past here you'd provoke an op attack, so that's also part of this problem. So you'd have to move through a friendly creature space like here. So you'd have to go 5, 10, 15, 20.
Speaker 1:That's not going to get me close, though, Okay. Well then, I don't do that?
Speaker 7:Would you be willing to provoke an opportunity? Attack in order to man. Would you be willing to provoke an opportunity?
Speaker 4:attack in order to you could get closer, but I think you still wouldn't be within 30, because if you did 5, 10, 15, 20, and then you used your action to dash and you went 5, 10, 15, 20, then you could do it on your next turn. If you wanted to telegraph for the future, yeah, so you could do it on your next turn If you wanted to telegraph for the future?
Speaker 1:Yeah, so you could do that. Can I use my bonus action still If I dash?
Speaker 7:Yes, yes, if Sanctuary's a bonus action, then that works.
Speaker 4:Sanctuary's a bonus action. Yes, so you can do that, but you'll provoke an op attack. But otherwise, having to move one square this way or that way, you'll be just out of range. One square this way or that way, you'll be just out of range Kind of worth it.
Speaker 3:I think it's not worth it. If he dies, we're always doomed.
Speaker 1:I think of my son and call upon any strength that being a dad can give me. And I run, I run, me and I run, I run as fast as I can.
Speaker 4:Five, 10, 15, 20. It's going to roll at you to hit with its scimitar. You got this Ash 21. Mm-hmm, it's gonna hit and then you take 21. It's gonna hit. And then you take oh sorry, my thing is magnetic and this little cup keeps snapping onto it. Seven plus five, 13. Slashing damage as, reaching back for its scimitar Rakan twirls around effortlessly and slashes you. Slashing damage as reaching back for its scimitar Rakan twirls around effortlessly and slashes you as you run by, but you do get to continue your movement.
Speaker 1:I sure do, thanks to Namir.
Speaker 5:All right.
Speaker 1:Thanks to my fellow countrymen, thank God.
Speaker 4:And you are in range to cast Sanctuary.
Speaker 1:Om Sahanavamathu. Let's go, I do it.
Speaker 4:I cast it. You cast Sanctuary on Silsilani, meaning that the next character to attack her has to make a wisdom saving throw to attack. Wow, major Leduanti, you are up Okay.
Speaker 2:What Le Duanti you are up.
Speaker 4:Okay, what, uh? Would you like to invoke the boon? I believe I would. You have three open stamps. You can trade them for three Yep.
Speaker 2:I would like to do that.
Speaker 3:Yes, Auntie, thank you. Wow, like to do that. Yes, Andy thank you.
Speaker 5:Wow, let's do it.
Speaker 2:Whoa, hey Didn't like that one.
Speaker 5:One always falls on the floor.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 4:You feel the cards warmth in your hand and for a moment you hear a voice in your head that is unfamiliar to you, and the voice just says I know you, Let me see what I can do. And then fades.
Speaker 5:Okay, great.
Speaker 2:And then fades. Okay, great, does that count as like an action, or what does that count as I?
Speaker 4:don't think we counted it as an action on Sathara's turn, so we won't count it for yours, incredible.
Speaker 2:How far away am I from?
Speaker 4:Actually it's 10 feet.
Speaker 2:And who's? Sorry if you've already said this the person in front of the lake. This person, yeah, this is the person in front of the lake.
Speaker 4:This person yeah, this is the person that's been channeling some type of negative energy flood towards Silsilani.
Speaker 2:Okay, no, no one has touched that person. No.
Speaker 3:My crocodile had started going away, but he didn't Exactly.
Speaker 2:I think I will. Again newfound energy, again thinking of my taken sister. I turn to this person and I taunt them with my chapel oh, oh, so big and strong, huh, huh. Okay, come here, see how big and strong you are. When I hit you across the face and I hit them with the chapel, oh, let's sharpshooter. Okay, okay.
Speaker 4:And you're blessed and I'm blessed. So you take, I think, a negative five to the attack, but you get to add 10 damage. I think. Yes, yes.
Speaker 1:Negative five, but plus 10 to damage if you land Less.
Speaker 2:And then plus the plus, so it's only negative one, okay Well.
Speaker 3:Right Depends on the die roll. Depends on the die roll, yeah.
Speaker 2:Oh yeah, yeah Okay, do I do digital dice or real dice?
Speaker 7:Go real. Real dice always are better for me, okay.
Speaker 2:Okay, I'm gonna need some help with math.
Speaker 1:Okay, I got you.
Speaker 7:Thank you.
Speaker 6:So now the d4.
Speaker 2:That's cocked. We don't think about that one.
Speaker 6:No, we don't think about it 16, but then minus 5.
Speaker 7:11.
Speaker 4:So 11. The juffle flies wide and then, as though like a boomerang, comes soaring back into your hand, unable to make its mark.
Speaker 2:I know I'm like can I do it again? Yes, you can, you're lucky, I am stubborn. Sharp-shooted again.
Speaker 5:Yeah, I sharp like can I do it again? Yes, you can. You're lucky, I am stubborn.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I sharped you again, Not quite, not quite. Oh Yay, stop it, stop it, stop it, okay, wow.
Speaker 4:Yeah, go ahead and roll damage.
Speaker 5:So I'm helping you with that.
Speaker 4:Technically, with your minus five there would be a chance this wouldn't hit. But you are blessed, Just plus six too, for a modifier.
Speaker 2:Yes, okay, okay, so I roll one D4 plus three on that, but if it's a nat 20, does that help me?
Speaker 4:You add another D4, and then go ahead and also double your sharpshooter damage Nice.
Speaker 2:This is like a headshot. I got that for you. Thank you so much, so I am rolling a d4.
Speaker 3:The only non-Indian at the table is the one doing the math. We're failures. How did we?
Speaker 2:fail. I'm a nerd. How did we fail so badly?
Speaker 4:Auntie's gonna be so mad about this. 2d4 plus three plus 20.
Speaker 5:Ah, that's right, three plus three, so six, six plus three Plus three.
Speaker 7:Plus three plus your rage, okay, nine, 11, plus 20, 31.
Speaker 1:Yes, andy, yo, the Chumple of Destiny.
Speaker 4:It's gonna make a wisdom. Save this Chumple. As it collides with this channeler's face, you see it crack the demonic horn on its head with a resounding thunder. Yeah, he looks at you bleeding from the mouth. He got a 13 on the wisdom. Save what's your save DC.
Speaker 7:Because you're a barbarian, so there's not even a tab for that.
Speaker 4:It's versus your intimidation. Oh, and it's just gonna be for your taunt.
Speaker 2:Okay, that's three plus five, eight Eight.
Speaker 4:You deal a grievous blow to this creature, like I said, cracking its horn. You see a little blood coming out of its mouth as the Chappal makes contact and comes rebounding back to your hand, and it has the reverse effect. He wants to do everything but attack you. You have successfully intimidated him to the point that, even though you're taunting him, he is now cowering in fear from you.
Speaker 2:Oh, too scared to come next to your auntie. Huh, yes, could you get a beating on the ass? I cursed, I get one.
Speaker 3:And Sitara's screaming from the ground. That's it, auntie.
Speaker 2:My bonus is um Ranged weapons, frenzy attack, frenzy attack, but then with the chupple is the bonus action not, yeah, I think you used your bonus action to intimidate, to see if I can intimidate.
Speaker 4:Yeah, to see if you can intimidate. Or provoke.
Speaker 6:That was a hell of an attack.
Speaker 2:That's a turn, though.
Speaker 4:That rolls, that rolls hard, mirka.
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Speaker 3:Emboldened by Auntie's flying chupple, it is your turn. You also get your healing at this point oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4:You get 1d6 healing at the top of your turn, At the top right.
Speaker 6:So let's do that right now really quickly 1d6.
Speaker 4:Plus, that's six, nice, that's six, it's 1d6, plus something I still can't get over how beautiful notebook is.
Speaker 6:Thank you, it's very sick.
Speaker 2:It's so good, it's twisted, it's hot, it's hard to eat.
Speaker 6:I'm hearing conflicting reactions. The split pages.
Speaker 2:It's disgusting, it's gorgeous.
Speaker 6:Someone's gonna buy that Just so you all know I have little barn doors. Someone buy this on a farm, Someone hire.
Speaker 2:Omar for their TV show.
Speaker 4:This notebook reminds me of Pedro Pascal in all the good ways.
Speaker 5:Oh, thank you.
Speaker 6:Like so good, it shouldn't be allowed this was featured on one episode of Buffy in season four, the Freshman.
Speaker 2:Um so All right, sick, Just like Pedro Pascal Sick.
Speaker 6:All right, amazing, okay, so I'm gonna fire Whirlwind right now. It will take an entire action to try to remove myself from it. Yes, Does that include a bonus action?
Speaker 4:No, you will have your bonus action available to you.
Speaker 3:You also have the healing spirit around you and it will continue to heal you if you stay in that spot.
Speaker 4:I know it's not fun, but that's a good point, but you also take D4 fire damage at the top of your turn from the fire, from being in the fire world.
Speaker 6:I'm gonna get D6 from you.
Speaker 4:Well, it depends on how I roll. So you take three.
Speaker 6:Right now.
Speaker 4:Wow, but you heal.
Speaker 6:Roll a rollercoaster ride.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah yeah, you just die Because it is like a fire it is like an inferno that you are trapped in.
Speaker 3:Okay, so get out. Get out.
Speaker 6:There's folks blocking me, which is the only reason I'm gonna try to get out of here. If no one was blocking me, I would stay in and just attack and attack, and attack. But you are in front of me, I am. I wanna go around you so I can assist with this. Okay, so I'm gonna try to leave this storm.
Speaker 4:Okay, give me a strength, save Okay.
Speaker 1:You're blessed.
Speaker 6:And I'm blessed, so this is gonna be an additional d4. Yeah, and I'm still using my powered up suit, so it's gonna be plus three. Okay, that's nine plus three, 12.
Speaker 4:12, and that's with the plus three from your suit. Yeah, and the blessing.
Speaker 6:Yeah, so the defy roll is six.
Speaker 4:You are unable to get out of this whirlwind, as you are buffeted by the flames but also comforted by the small healing spirit. Both of you kind of like finding almost a moment of calm as the flames lick around you.
Speaker 6:I'm stuck here but I want to do some good, so I am going to yell out to Butcha Butcha, help. And I would like for Butcha to fly over to our Spider-Auntie and cast Spare the Dying through me.
Speaker 4:Aww, Butcha, savings please let's stabilize Spider Auntie. Butcha stabilizes Spider Auntie. Well done.
Speaker 2:What a crazy sentence.
Speaker 3:You said that out loud.
Speaker 4:If you look at her, she literally has a dupatta and bangles Amazing.
Speaker 2:That's so cool. That's so cool, I'm going to show it to you.
Speaker 4:I want to see it. You deserve to see her. You deserve to see her.
Speaker 2:Aiyo, hello, hi guys. Ah, amadi, amadi. Ok, I'll wait for, you.
Speaker 6:I'll wait.
Speaker 5:Sorry, sorry, the title will keep changing as we keep going, spider-dd. Thank you, thank you, spider-dd.
Speaker 2:Oh my gosh, look at how sweet she is. Namaste, namaste, namaste, chakya ma.
Speaker 3:Oh, yeah, yeah, Okay okay, you're better now, because Machine Baby has fixed you Machine Baby.
Speaker 5:No one, yeah Kutty. Robot fixed you.
Speaker 2:Yeah, ash, go get some ice water.
Speaker 6:Machine baby has fixed you. Machine baby, good team robot fixed you. Ash, go get some ice water, please. Please, go over to the brimstone lemonade for.
Speaker 4:Ani, we are at the top of the round, but before, at the end of your turn, it's going to use its legendary action. Rakan is going to use its legendary action Points at you, invoking your guilt, and he says because of people like you. Do you realize what your modernization has done, what it's left behind, what it's destroyed, what it's made redundant as humanity's filth spills over the land? Have you ever asked Bulwinder why his farm was taken from him? Make a charisma saving throw.
Speaker 3:You're blessed too. Yeah, yes, yes.
Speaker 7:That is coming in handy.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I didn't do it last time when I paid the price.
Speaker 6:Okay, supposed to thank you.
Speaker 2:That's very cute. Did you use your left hand?
Speaker 6:No, this is rolling so badly that's going to be seven total, oh man.
Speaker 4:As you ponder this, you don't think of your creations, which haven't done much wrong, but you think of the clay golems in the domain of dread and you ponder whether or not you've driven people away from you with your creations or tried to replace people with creations. You remember the haunting visage of your very own Bacha, damning you and cursing you for never being a real boy and feeling that he'll never be able to grow old or have love of his own. You are afflicted with the guilt condition, mm. We will get back to what that means in a moment. I can't wait. No, the guilt condition. Wait, dude. No.
Speaker 3:The guild condition. Sitara, it is your turn. Question if I have a spell that is an action and I have a spell that is a bonus action, may I cast both on the same turn?
Speaker 4:Yes, if one is a leveled spell and one is a cantrip.
Speaker 3:That is not the case, okay? So in that case, she splits her attention and with one hand she reaches out toward the caster in the lake and she'll cast Scorching Ray at third level. It's 120 feet. So he's within that range, this one. Yeah, I think so. Let's see, it's 120 feet.
Speaker 4:So he's within that range. This one yeah, I think so. Let's see 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35. Yeah, okay.
Speaker 3:Plus seven is 18.
Speaker 4:An 18 hits. Go ahead and roll your two other hits 22.
Speaker 3:Hit, miss. So two of them hit for three. Oh, when I cast this slot, I thought of third level or higher. You create one additional ray for each slot level, but put two so I get another one right, yeah, 13?, miss, Okay, first one. Six plus six, 12 plus seven, 19. 19.
Speaker 4:Second, as the scorching ray goes flying out. It finishes off all of LeDoux auntie's work. What Teamwork auntie.
Speaker 2:Teamwork Okay, okay.
Speaker 5:Chandler once and for all severely weakened.
Speaker 4:he had 40 hit points, Severely weakened by your grievous jumble blow.
Speaker 5:Yes.
Speaker 4:The scorching ray is too much, he goes up in flames.
Speaker 1:Amazing Idiot.
Speaker 3:Then for my bonus action. Great, I can't do anything with my bonus action, but I am going to come at-. You get your beast and your fire spirit, so my beast will just attack Rakan again. Okay, no, he doesn't hit. And then Chotu is gonna. It's just fun to see.
Speaker 7:This is a fireball spit.
Speaker 3:Yes, okay, so 21.
Speaker 4:That's a hit. Go ahead and roll damage. Four the hairball collides with Rakan, who lets out a blood-curdling laugh and then raises a hand. Have Chotu make a dex save. Oh no, chotu, my daughter Gonna use his legendary action.
Speaker 3:Son of a bitch.
Speaker 4:He doesn't make it, no way 17 points of fire damage as Chotu is engulfed in flames with that hellish rebuke.
Speaker 3:Hmm, even though he's flaming, he's engulfed in flames. Is he flame resistant, damage immunity, fire.
Speaker 4:So he does not take the damage. That was a misplay on my end. I really wanted to kill that little.
Speaker 2:I'm sure you did. It's like a snake by a snake. I mean.
Speaker 4:I know, you hate the druid right now, but don't hate the player, hate the game. It's not my fault, that's how they make them. I'm tired of it being in the initiative track, yeah.
Speaker 5:Zero HP. One HP is more.
Speaker 4:Yeah, no, no, no, Okay. So he reaches out a hand to Hellish Rebuke. Sees that this is so up, I'm gonna do it. Channel your inner Brennan Lee Mulligan. Oh, Seeing that Chotu is immune to fire, he looks at you and he says that's okay. I set your parents on fire every day. It is Rakan's turn. Oh, it is.
Speaker 3:Rakan's turn. Oh, it's been nice knowing you guys. It's been nice knowing you.
Speaker 7:What is like beyond rage?
Speaker 3:I just hope someone has or something, because I can't wink any bigger.
Speaker 7:Oh, can I say five words to Rakan while he is taking action.
Speaker 4:You can do it on your turn, uh-oh.
Speaker 2:I love you so much. Sorry, I'm like.
Speaker 5:Pilate-ing is what you're doing.
Speaker 7:I'm like Plotting is what you're doing. I'm plotting.
Speaker 3:She really hates me this episode, so take it down. It's cool, it's cool.
Speaker 4:I don't like all the creatures in the initiative track. I mean, if I were an enemy on this map, I'd hate everything you've done to me.
Speaker 7:Yes, yes, maybe I am an enemy, we don't know.
Speaker 3:No, that was the big. You made us think you am an enemy. We don't know. No, that was the big, made us think you were an enemy. I don't know why they-.
Speaker 7:I mean, you know, not over yet. Okay.
Speaker 3:Just kidding. I think I prayed at your goddamn feet when you turned into Statue. Come on, yeah, Be nice.
Speaker 2:She was like obsessed with you. All right, I'm going to do it.
Speaker 4:I'm going to do it. I don't think this is that mean. This thing has crit him twice.
Speaker 1:Yes, okay, that's fair.
Speaker 2:Crocodile uncle, please, crocodile uncle Look.
Speaker 3:Crocodile uncle. Let me find out what he is.
Speaker 4:Let's see. It's a melee. Does a 19 hit yes, make a charisma saving throw for the beast?
Speaker 3:This modifier is 20? Missed.
Speaker 4:You see, Rakan cast Plane Shift. You see the ground open, you get a glimpse of the Feywild, oh wow. And then you see a single being horns on its head, eyes rolling, long tongue. Come out with backwards hands on all fours and whisk away your beast. Oh no, it's OK, that's a plane shift.
Speaker 5:That can happen. Yeah, it means, oh, I know but that means he's high. Oh yeah, no, he's giant level.
Speaker 3:He's got the whirlwind thing. He's ginormous level.
Speaker 6:So what are we talking like?
Speaker 3:level three rogue, yeah, totally.
Speaker 4:Three, three and a half human yeah, like half. And then I get these jokes. Let's see, I think he is going to move towards Silsilan. No, he's not flying this time, so I think he's gonna stop here Is Silsilan now.
Speaker 3:That is anything changed in her.
Speaker 4:Is she conscious Did?
Speaker 5:I change it. No, because she hasn't left. He's still within range yeah, he hasn't left your attack range.
Speaker 6:No, but he's breaking eye contact and I think that's wrong.
Speaker 4:It is Spider Auntie's turn. Yeah, come on, spider Auntie, I take away, but I also get.
Speaker 5:Yeah, we love Spider Auntie.
Speaker 4:Spider Auntie has only been stabilized.
Speaker 7:Yeah, Unconscious still yeah.
Speaker 4:She's not alive. But she grants you one last boon, as with like one of the last vestiges of her health. She gives Batja an Ashir Vod as right before she like kind of passes out.
Speaker 2:Batja Wait a minute, as right before she like kind of passes out Bacha, wait a minute.
Speaker 4:Yes.
Speaker 2:Is that super bacha, is that?
Speaker 4:mecha bacha, and bacha begins to grow.
Speaker 6:Bacha delu, a growing boy Bacha.
Speaker 2:You see all those laddus out. You just turned four, oh my gosh. You and your big son, alright, your big giant son.
Speaker 4:What you should know is that Spider-Auntie has cast Enlarge on Butcha. Yes, butcha now has advantage on strength checks and strength saving throws. Wow, his weapons grow to match his new size. While they are enlarged, the target's attacks with them deal one D4 extra damage, d4 extra hello.
Speaker 2:My big, powerful son you just hear beep boop.
Speaker 3:His voice is changing, we're so proud of you.
Speaker 2:Puberty is wonderful.
Speaker 3:It's a terrible time At least he doesn't smell, it's fine.
Speaker 6:We're going to have to deal with so much now. Oh my God. Keep him away from us.
Speaker 4:You see something so small in his hand, a tiny little pinwheel I have five little single fingers, wee.
Speaker 5:Butcher, what do you say?
Speaker 6:Zucrea.
Speaker 5:There you go.
Speaker 4:Zucrea, zucrea.
Speaker 6:Good boy.
Speaker 4:The channeler is dead. It is Rakan's turn. I think he's going to attack you, since you're the only one in range. Who's you? Me, yes, me, it's you.
Speaker 2:It's you.
Speaker 4:I think it's actually gonna go with. The scimitar Gets three attacks, okay, 18. Okay 28.
Speaker 2:So 17. Whatever, 28. So 17. Whatever. Okay Is that three hits? Yeah, who cares?
Speaker 4:Just gonna roll digitally.
Speaker 2:I mean 12. Okay, I'm done. 13. I'm done.
Speaker 7:Drops on the first attack I'm done.
Speaker 2:Oh no, I only had seven yeah you can stop.
Speaker 4:You all watch as, whirling the blade around almost like a dervish, it catches La Duante twice in the chest and she falls, knocked unconscious, to the floor. No, oh, he can move now without taking an op attack.
Speaker 2:Oh, pretty cool if you just kill the person you're walking by. Yeah, yeah, that is his action.
Speaker 4:You cannot do anything else. This turn, nomir. Oh, you are out.
Speaker 7:Okay, so I see.
Speaker 4:He's getting serious, I see you drop Mm-hmm.
Speaker 7:And I have a sense of this. I know there's these scales at play. We all have a sense of that. Mm-hmm and this Lord of Judgment. I pull out an arrow and I look at him as I let it loose. I call out to him, the Lord of Judgment, taking down the mortals of this realm, instead of facing an equal how like you? And I'm casting Hunter's Mark as the arrow flies through the air, attacking him. So he's got my Hunter's Mark as all these moths flutter all around him very violently and let's just roll. And I oh, that's nice, that's very nice. Oh, an 18 to hit that hits. Oh, I, oh, that's nice, that's very nice. Ooh, an 18 to hit that hits. Oh, actually I didn't even add that's a 28 to hit. Yes, that hits. So this has my Hunter's Mark. I'm gonna use a second level spell slot for Divine Smite, so that's gonna be three smites my swarm is also hitting him, plus my hunter's mark, do you?
Speaker 4:need more dice, I have just enough, take a couple more dice to it.
Speaker 7:Yeah, yeah, just for fun, just for funsies, all right. You take aim, I take aim and I let this mofo have it. Oh, but I rolled so many ones, oh, no. So, wow, that's a lot of ones. Okay, that is 11, 12, 13, 14, 21 points of damage 21 points of damage.
Speaker 4:I'm helping you.
Speaker 7:Cool, yes. And then looking around, seeing again that this is, I'm no longer of the mortal realm, like everyone else is. And this trespasser, I will fight him back, as I've been instructed, asked to do by Noren. But the realm is best defended by the mortals that walk it. And as my second attack, but the realm is best defended by the mortals that walk it. And as my second attack, I take another arrow and I aim it at you, at Landu, and with the same kind of this, one's aggressive. This has violence in it. But instead of doing ooh, instead of doing damage, you're getting max healing from this healing arrow. You take 11 points of healing, oh, my God.
Speaker 7:And blooded in you is an ancient rage.
Speaker 4:Your frenzy continues. As you stand back to your feet, you will not have to take another action to rage.
Speaker 7:Thank you so much. You're welcome. That is my bonus and my attack and I stay. I'll move out of the way if I'm blocking anybody, so I'll step to the side.
Speaker 4:Legendary action. He points one finger at you and attempts to invoke guilt.
Speaker 1:Ooh.
Speaker 4:And he says to you oh, you care so much for the mortals of this world. Is that why you abandoned them and chose to take up residence in the woods instead? If you're so fond of them, why didn't you remain amongst them? There is some part of you that has a very low opinion of these people that you dwell with. Make a charisma saving throw Ooh ooh yikes.
Speaker 7:That hits hard. I'm still blessed.
Speaker 1:You are still blessed.
Speaker 7:Oh, that's a 19. Ooh, 23, 24.
Speaker 4:You push these thoughts down, for you are the avatar of Nuren and this being's words have no hold on you. These thoughts down, for you are the avatar of Nuren and this being's words have no hold on you. You're up, ash, hell, yeah, okay, I just drop yours and no one else's.
Speaker 1:What's that supposed to mean? I don't know How's everybody fair. I look around, I wanna see how my compatriots are faring. Oh, I don't know How's everybody fair. I look around and I want to see how my compatriots are faring.
Speaker 6:Oh, I'm doing good. I'm just living in a fire tunnel.
Speaker 7:Oh yeah, but with the healing spirit as your roommate.
Speaker 6:Yeah, you're right.
Speaker 3:Sharing a studio apartment. I have 15.
Speaker 6:Yeah, it's been worth it 15.
Speaker 3:I'm fine, he's been worse. 15. I'm fine, he's a god, you're a god, he's a god. I'm not doing great.
Speaker 1:You have healed yourself too, so I'm gonna have to do some work here. And La Duante, you're low, okay so I'm fine.
Speaker 2:Can't be true, I can't, that's, that's that's Tell me truly, I'm good.
Speaker 1:I'm good, I'm gonna channel divinity. Ash props up on his tail, goes cross-legged, does some inaccurate praying and he gives Ladoanti. I'm gonna give you 15 healing points.
Speaker 2:What the hell Thanks.
Speaker 4:I didn't even know you could do that.
Speaker 1:I do that all the time, I'm gonna do it once and I'm gonna give myself 10, the remaining 10. That's because I can only get you to half. Yeah, yeah, you got me.
Speaker 2:Okay, great, I'm trying to figure out if there's another way to kill him, besides just killing you.
Speaker 1:And then, for my bonus action, ash picks up his haladi, his grandmother's haladi, and he goes I know there's more power in you, yet ba, grant me even more power, will you? And he tosses it in the air and casts Spiritual Weapon, spiritual.
Speaker 4:Weapon Perfect.
Speaker 1:With the power of his corn-shucking Ba, he sends that spiritual Haladi at Rukhan.
Speaker 4:So if you spawn it on him, you can attack him on this turn.
Speaker 1:There we go. That is a 20, dirty 20.
Speaker 4:That hits, go ahead and roll damage.
Speaker 1:Okay, and it is 13 damage.
Speaker 4:Wow, perfect, 13 damage.
Speaker 7:Yes, nice roll.
Speaker 4:Yeah, your spiritual Haladi goes out and makes contact with Rukhan, who is distracted and has his back towards you. Larduanti, you're back on your feet. Yeah, and I'm frenzying right, oh yeah, real quick.
Speaker 1:Ba from beyond says go shuck yourself.
Speaker 5:Ooh.
Speaker 7:She's got a good reliner, doesn't she? Yeah, I'd like to meet your she, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3:I'd like to meet your ba, wow, wow.
Speaker 2:OK, so I would like to use my hand axe and attack this person, ok.
Speaker 4:Meeting.
Speaker 2:Rukon Go ahead. So are you going to move up to him then? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Sorry, I can't see how far I person, okay, meaning Rukon Go ahead, so are you gonna move up to him then? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Sorry, I can't see how far I am, yeah.
Speaker 4:Gorgeous Five 10, 15, 20. Great, Go ahead and roll to hit.
Speaker 2:That is a 21. Wow, go ahead and roll your second attack. That is a 15. That is a miss.
Speaker 4:Do you wanna use your bonus action for a third attack, since you are frenzying?
Speaker 5:Go ahead and roll it.
Speaker 7:The Bless is gone because she got knocked unconscious.
Speaker 2:Oh, bless is gone. That is a nat, 20. Come on, sadita. Yes, that frenzy and roll damage. Thank you, okay. So on that last one, that is gonna be eight plus two, two because of your rage, ten Ten. On each of those attacks. Oh, that applies To every attack. Okay, cool, great. So that's a ten. And then on that one. This is why I put Luis next to me.
Speaker 5:Thank you.
Speaker 2:Thank you, mommy. And then the second one was also ten, thank you. Thank you, mommy. And then the second one was also 10.
Speaker 4:Okay, for a total of 20. Damage Magnificent. You strike a reeling blow with your Chup Bull, clacking out with power at Rakan. I believe that is your turn.
Speaker 2:I say nothing. I say nothing For the first time in my life she's really
Speaker 3:angry guys, she's not saying anything. Mark happened.
Speaker 6:Okay, so let's first deal with the healing and the.
Speaker 5:Yes, so you take.
Speaker 6:That happens simultaneously.
Speaker 4:You take one fire damage, all right.
Speaker 6:And I, so I'll just add three Mm-hmm, nice, great, so I'm to 17. Beautiful and that's taken care of. We love that. Let me just quickly journal about it.
Speaker 5:Come on, dear God. Wow, I'm at 17.
Speaker 6:The pages go up in flames. Yeah, oh geez, oh my God, oh I'm beginning to swing in your favor.
Speaker 4:Come on, okay, oh jeez Dude beginning to swing in your favor. Come on, Butcha is huge, with a tiny little pinwheel in his hand.
Speaker 6:Butcha has advantage on strength checks right. I would love for Butcha. It's up to him, I'm not asking him.
Speaker 1:Big boy now.
Speaker 6:But he can either pull me out of the fray or attack, and what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna actually roll a d6. Odds he pulls me out, evens he makes an attack. It's up to him, it's not up to me. One that's an odds.
Speaker 2:He's not up to me.
Speaker 6:Okay, one, that's an odd, he pulls you out he pulls me out.
Speaker 4:Cute, go ahead and roll with advantage on the strength check to pull you out Come on Good job.
Speaker 6:Oh yeah, yeah, okay, yeah, we'll go with this one, oh.
Speaker 4:Oh no, what's that?
Speaker 2:Oh no.
Speaker 4:What's that? Oh no, what's that, what's that?
Speaker 5:It's on.
Speaker 6:Gordon. He has a negative three to strength.
Speaker 2:Even in this one. Yeah, doesn't he get some sort?
Speaker 7:of Did he get a bonus?
Speaker 2:Do you?
Speaker 4:see stats. Um, let's see. Yeah, the target has advantage on strength checks and strength saving throws. It doesn't say that enlarge gives more strength, just advantage, just advantage and extra damage.
Speaker 6:Yeah, it sounds like a typo. Yeah. Yeah, just throwing that out there, so that's going to be a 14.
Speaker 4:Wow, that is, I believe, just enough. Yeah, I think I got a 14.
Speaker 6:Wait no, it's fine, it's just below right. It's just below. Yeah, I think I got a 40. Wait, no, it's fine, it's just below right, it's just below, it's just below.
Speaker 4:Damn. Yeah, you see Butcha's hand come down to reach you out of the fire. This is how this is going to be. This is how this is going to be flavored. And then the pinwheel catches flame and it disappears. Blah, blah. And the pinwheel disintegrates as the paper catches fire, as he gets distracted Blah blah.
Speaker 6:It's okay, we can build a new one. We can make it ourselves. We're just folding paper and pinning it together. You can make it any way you want. That's the great thing about invention If you want something, you can build it and make it to how you like it.
Speaker 4:I can't roll again.
Speaker 5:Yeah, goody.
Speaker 6:Double advantage Ah, that's a 19 to minus three, that's 16.
Speaker 5:Yay.
Speaker 4:Scoops down his hand, lifts you up and puts you on his shoulder. Aw.
Speaker 7:He's that big.
Speaker 1:He's so big, look at him, he's huge Look at him.
Speaker 2:I want a huge son.
Speaker 6:Now pulled out of there. And from this vantage point I yell to Namir now with my action, Cause that was Butch's action yes. Namir, I didn't tell you this earlier, but I found a stick and I am going to cast Scorching Ray with my Arcane Focus.
Speaker 4:Yes, oh, I thought you were trying to like a stick. A stick, I don't get it.
Speaker 7:Well, I mean, namir would probably be like. I understand. Yes, exactly yes.
Speaker 6:And then the d4 is added to the first scorching ray. How would that work?
Speaker 4:Yes.
Speaker 6:To each roll.
Speaker 4:Yeah, because it's a roll to hit.
Speaker 6:That's like one overall If it's a roll to hit I roll.
Speaker 4:Yeah, you just add it, okay.
Speaker 6:So I'll just do bless I, yeah, okay so it's gonna be a plus two to all these Paladins and clerics galore. Okay, 16 hits, the 16 is miss 16, and then they all miss, oh yeah.
Speaker 4:All three scorching rays come streaming out of this stick and with ease, almost as though turning your flames against you. It racks you with that guilt that you are afflicted with. You take nine psychic damage, as firing on Rakan makes you feel, makes you doubt yourself. You think for a moment, as the scorching rays go out is he wrong? Am I perfect? And as you sit on Butch's shoulder, you see the burning pinwheel in his hand and you, for a moment, are just absorbed with the guilt. Josh, do you have anything else on your turn?
Speaker 6:I am going to take the rest of my time to meditate on this.
Speaker 4:Mm Ooh Sitara. Mm, you are up the guilt man.
Speaker 7:This is the start of the third round.
Speaker 2:I think Damn, yes, damn.
Speaker 3:Spicy, right, she's pissed Once. He said that about her parents, she's done. And she said that about her parents, she's done. And she reaches down on the ground and she slams both fists into the ground and she casts Tidal Wave and from beneath the earth, a wave of water comes up and crashes down 30 feet long, up to 10 feet wide and up to 10 feet tall. So I want to cast it right on his spot. Going that way. Is it 10 feet wide? Yeah, so 10 feet wide and up to 10 feet tall. So I wanna cast it right on his spot. Going that way. Is it 10 feet wide? Yeah, so 10 feet wide. Like, so, like a ribbon, like I want it to go up on him and past him. This is 10 feet wide, this is 30 feet long. That's what I want it to do. So it hits him here, not on the like in the corner. It still hits him that way because it's like that. Let me see.
Speaker 4:So I don't know. It's going to be 30 feet long, 10 feet wide, 10 feet tall.
Speaker 3:Like he would be at the bottom corner of this rectangle. Got it Ribbon. He'll be right when it erupts Like the bottom left Correct Okay, legendary resistance.
Speaker 4:He's not going to fail that deck. Save, okay, legendary resistance.
Speaker 3:He's not gonna fail that dex save. Okay, well, he's still gonna have to take some damage.
Speaker 4:Yes, that's why I only ever use two of my legendary actions.
Speaker 5:I keep one in the can For a big meaty spell.
Speaker 7:Huh For a big meaty spell, so you can resist it.
Speaker 4:Yeah, so I can resist it. Yeah, wow, yeah. Well, that'll do it.
Speaker 5:That'll do it. I mean our weapon attacks are resisted.
Speaker 4:That's eight damage the water comes crashing over him and you see his flame dim for a moment and then, within him, fueled by his insane judgment of you all, he stands strong with that legendary resistance.
Speaker 3:OK, and then?
Speaker 4:Rekha's like how dare you, how dare you? I'm like, how dare I always keep one of the?
Speaker 3:characters. How dare you? I'm like how dare.
Speaker 7:That's good you gotta keep in mind. Well, it's funny sometimes when I'd be DMing.
Speaker 4:I'll read the chat where people would be like she only used two of her legendary actions. I'm like I always keep one on deck If someone does like a Dissonant Whispers. I'm like legendary resistance.
Speaker 3:So hang on a second. I just have to see what this does. Yeah, I have to.
Speaker 4:I'm totally cool cool, cool.
Speaker 3:The Dissonant Whispers are playing nearby. Okay, they start playing.
Speaker 4:Water Wall instead of Wonderwall. Oh, that's good that's good.
Speaker 6:Wow.
Speaker 4:Classic. I said, maybe it's doing damage.
Speaker 5:Uh-oh, psychic damage.
Speaker 3:So for my bonus action, I am going to cast. I can't. Okay, nevermind, that's my turn. You have Chotu's attack, I do, and so Chotu is just gonna hawk another Lugii.
Speaker 5:Mm-hmm roll to hit 14 plus seven is.
Speaker 3:Was he plus goddammit, every loogie counts Every so many things to keep track of.
Speaker 7:You have so many different stat blocks. Yeah, plus seven okay, 21.
Speaker 3:That's a hit. Go ahead and roll damage. Okay, one D, six plus three.
Speaker 4:Once you are right and once you get into wild shapes, it gets even worse. Oh yeah, because then you have the wild shape stat blocks, you have the summon beast stat blocks and then you have the wildfire spirit stat blocks.
Speaker 3:I've been avoiding changing just because of that I have a druid in another game.
Speaker 4:Eight damage, just enough.
Speaker 1:Come on, yes, yeah, tides turned.
Speaker 4:It is Rakan's turn. He has three attacks. One of them he's going to focus on Silsilon, but that sanctuary is still up. Yes, so he has to make a wisdom save. Fail that wiz, that's an 18. Oh, does that make your wisdom save?
Speaker 1:Probably does, so I have to roll right for a wisdom save.
Speaker 4:You should have your spell save DC at the top of your spell list.
Speaker 1:Yeah, on the very top. Save DC is 16. Makes it it's gonna attack her once. Yeah, on the very top.
Speaker 4:Saved DC is 16. Makes it it's gonna attack her once.
Speaker 1:Oh, I see that's for the sanctuary.
Speaker 4:And then Dar's Dang it. Okay, that's a bunch of ones, one one, so two plus five, seven damage. And then, with the grievous jumble blow you did to him, he's gonna strike at you twice because you are the closest. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's a six on the dice Does 15 hit.
Speaker 2:Uh yeah.
Speaker 4:Dang it. Your AC's low, yeah, so what? Uh, and then okay. So the second one definitely hits as well, dealing you to four, eight, 11, slashing damage, with the scimitar Slashing down at Silsilani once and at you twice, kind of on the backhand. That is his turn. She's not gonna make a death save, but Spider Auntie is out. Okay, she used her last power to cast enlarge. She's done, but she is stabilized. If she had died, that could have been another counter against you in the weights of time. Well done, alright, it is Rakan's turn, are you?
Speaker 4:coming Since you're all so perfectly centered I miss Rakan, sorry, I'm sorry. Rekha, you should have resistance to slashing damage in your range. Are you having your damage? Am I? What? Are you having your damage? That?
Speaker 2:rolls yeah non-magical. So you gave me 11 damage, so do I do five or six?
Speaker 4:You can round down.
Speaker 1:That helps, yeah, that helps big time.
Speaker 4:Wow, yeah, you might not have died in that first round. Actually, no, no, no, no, no. All three hit and it was like, I think, something like 34 damage.
Speaker 6:You only rolled for the second one.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 4:I did, because I didn't even apply all of it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, she had two left in that one.
Speaker 5:Yeah, yeah so no, no, no, she would have gone down last time. Oh, that is correct.
Speaker 4:Thank you, molly, molly, molly, god bless you you know, I don't know anything about this game and I'm doing my best that the blow is quite not as grievous as it would have otherwise been.
Speaker 7:Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, oh, that other attack would have killed her anyway, because the first attack killed her in three.
Speaker 4:Yes, yes, that's what I'm saying. She definitely would have gone down and it's 150 feet so it can definitely hit you and range 20-foot radius. That gets all of you, everyone in this circle, including Namir, make a dexterity saving throw. Yes, am I in the circle? Because we which circle?
Speaker 2:This circle.
Speaker 4:So it's gonna be Mirka Sitara Namir Butcha, she's coming after us. Dex yeah, you're all clustered together. It's perfect for a fireball 20. Five seven, okay, 13, 16.
Speaker 6:Does her Bless work for this.
Speaker 4:Yes, Bless is for saving throws 26. Jeez 28,. Okay, who made their? Save Me. Okay, who made their?
Speaker 7:save Me 26.
Speaker 4:You all take 14 fire damage. Important question Is Butcha flammable? No, okay, butcha's made of metal.
Speaker 6:Yeah well, Butcha's made of love and sugar and spice.
Speaker 5:Not sugar sugar can burn Sugar melts. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3:We burn sugar before we go, not sugar, sugar can burn.
Speaker 4:We've burned sugar before in the kitchen. We don't let it. It ignites flammable objects. But we can even argue butcha's not an object.
Speaker 6:I will take beard damage.
Speaker 4:Your beard goes up in flames.
Speaker 6:Yeah, I'll say that You're gonna Uggify yourself for this. It doesn't say all, but I'll pat it out. But it doesn't like all, but like I'll Pat it out, but like it's singed, like I now look like I now look, smoke, like I have a smokey, like a smokey eye. Good it actually. It actually like it's a glam up, honestly. Like it's like hot, like I step out of the clouds, and it's just like whoa.
Speaker 7:Omar you made him do a charisma saving, throw earlier and he's trying to give himself more charisma.
Speaker 4:Basically at any cost. I don't know what glam up means.
Speaker 6:Wow, okay, 18 on what I just tried to do.
Speaker 4:Yes, the fireball lands in the middle of you, buffeting you all with flame, turning into Rakan's horrifying grin for just a moment before dissipating. I'm down.
Speaker 6:That was 14 damage, right, 14 damage. Horrifying grin for just a moment before dissipating Ooh, I'm down that was 14 damage right 14 damage. Yeah, I'm down.
Speaker 4:You were so calm I honestly wasn't anticipating it.
Speaker 6:I was like I came out of the smoke. I'm so hot and I dropped dead.
Speaker 2:That's the price you suffer for.
Speaker 6:So you're down, I'm down.
Speaker 4:But Buccha's up 14? Yeah.
Speaker 6:But what's your size 14.?
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 6:Butch is also down. We're both down. Butch is 13.
Speaker 4:Butch goes back.
Speaker 6:Yeah, yeah, butch is down, Butch is down.
Speaker 4:Butch goes back to normal size and lays alongside Mirka, almost like holding him still, like the way he was when he was on his shoulder.
Speaker 3:No Gods. What's happened to my face, sitara? Oh, oh, thank the gods. It's like a portal situation. You know, involuntary transformation for my kind is a sign of the pause of life and I simply can't afford that at this point in-. My name is Charlotte Eaves. You must listen. We haven't much time. Speaker 3:In Candela Obscura, we operate as circles of investigators, each of us with our own special sets of skills and weaknesses, to pursue strange occurrences and encounter dangerous magics, all the while fighting back against a mysterious source of corruption and bleed. The assignments of my own circle and several others have been well documented in a series by Critical Role. Oh, a series offer. Of course, I'll have my people, call your people and we'll work it. Thanks to the good people at Darrington Press, we now have a way for you and anyone else to join us in our investigations. I must go, as the bleed threatens to overtake me. Should I stay much longer? I shall meet you with the sight unseen. Until then, beware Sitara, beware the horrors that lie beyond the veil. Oh darling, you don't have to tell me about the horrors that lie beyond the veil. Oh darling, you don't have to tell me about the horrors that lie beyond the veil. But you know, marriage is a compromise. It's not all wine and foot rubs and airship cruises. It's what? Where'd she go?
Speaker 5:Rude.
Speaker 3:I still got it. It's so good. I still got it. I still got it. I still got it. I still got it. I still got it. I still got it. I still got it. I still got it, I still got it. I still got it. I still got it. I still got it. I still got it. I still got it. I still got it, I still got it.
Speaker 4:I still got.
Speaker 7:This Lord of Judgment is all about balance, but there's nothing balanced about what he's doing to these mortals. I'm gonna hit him again. Yeah that rolls. I am.
Speaker 4:I just wanna warn you, because you're afflicted with guilt much like Mirka. This may harm you. I just want, in case that mechanic wasn't, there I am, I am.
Speaker 7:That's not being processed. That's fair. That's not being processed.
Speaker 4:That's fair. That's fair.
Speaker 7:I still have Bless, Mm-hmm, I still have. Oh well, I should make a concentration save.
Speaker 1:Yes, you have Bless on the save oh.
Speaker 7:I do yes. So that's a seven and my con whoa, okay. So that's seven, that's a nine and I think the minimum is 10.
Speaker 7:It's 10 or half the damage you took yeah, so my hunter's mark goes away, but I'm gonna conjure it right back. I'm gonna use a bonus action to as it slips. It's like as if I can reach out into the air and grab it and keep it in place. Yes, right on the Lord of Judgment, on Rakan. So I'm going to attack. I'm still blessed and I got Hunter's Mark. The swarm is gonna land on him. Let's make this happen. That is a 26 to hit. That's a hit. I am going to use a first level spell slot. I'm running out for the. That's two of those gone for my Divine Smite. So that's two of those Weapon Attack my Swarm and my Hunter's Mark. So, divine Smite, weapon Attack, swarm hunter's mark. So divine smite, weapon attack, swarm hunter's mark. Okay, much better than four. So 14, plus 11 is 25. 25. Plus five, 30 points of damage.
Speaker 4:30 points of damage. 30 points of damage, incredible. The arrow pierces through Rakan's chest and you see him gasp for just a moment, but he stays on his feet just barely.
Speaker 1:Gasping is good.
Speaker 7:And for my second attack, for the last time that I can do this, I, you're right next to me, yes, yeah. Then I just take out an arrow and I jam it right into your chest and I heal you for nine points as that arrow melts into you and the last thing you see as you open your eyes is he's almost out. Take him down, and then I run.
Speaker 5:I can't be the one to do it. I can't be the one to do it, Ash you're up.
Speaker 1:Okay, if I take that potion, does that count as an action, or can I just take that potion and release a slot?
Speaker 4:It is like I think I made you use your action to use it, didn't I Did you.
Speaker 6:I don't think so, but maybe To take the potion.
Speaker 4:Yeah, I don't think so, because I just want take the potion?
Speaker 6:Yeah, I don't think so.
Speaker 4:Because I just want to be consistent. Normally I do object interaction as free, but healing potions it requires an action to use. But I just want to be consistent. For myself I don't actually care that much.
Speaker 6:I think because it was given as an action.
Speaker 4:Oh, because, she automatically had you drink it Okay. Yeah, you can use it for free. Okay, we'll count it as like an object interaction.
Speaker 1:I will do that.
Speaker 4:Okay, roll a d4. Oh, okay, oh cool.
Speaker 1:This is a wonderful spell slot. Get in there Four.
Speaker 4:You can gain back up to a level four spell slot.
Speaker 1:Oh, okay, nice, Awesome killer, I'm going to rush up. Yeah, I think I'm within 20 feet. Yeah, so can I touch him? Can I get to Rukhan?
Speaker 4:Um five, 10, 15, 20, you can.
Speaker 1:Yeah, you've hurt many of my friends today, and so I wish to inflict those wounds upon you in this moment. And I cast, inflict Wounds, okay, and that is.
Speaker 4:So make a melee spell attack.
Speaker 1:Yeah, so that's 27 to hit. That's a hit. Go ahead and roll damage. Oh wow, Okay, that's 5d10 damage.
Speaker 5:Yeah, oh, oh ho.
Speaker 6:Wow, no one touch Ash.
Speaker 1:All right, Poonsh, help me out here. All right, nine for the first one, six for the second one 15. One, 16, three, 19., 19., 19. And six, 25. 25.
Speaker 4:As your inflict wounds takes hold of Rakan, you see his essence begin to be unmade With one last hellish rebuke, just for flavor really. Nine, 11, seven, 18, 24 points of fire damage, he is unmade.
Speaker 1:I'm pretty well unmade as well, yeah, I feel you.
Speaker 4:Yes, ash, and the battle is won.
Speaker 5:Oh.
Speaker 2:Yeah, so fitting that you did it. Yes.
Speaker 4:And With when Silsilan wakes up. Just so you all know what she looks like Horns, kind of like you know, rubbing them a little wearily. Her high ponytail flared out behind her Abloh. Gunha who are, oh hi oh, the worst nightmare. I could really use some food.
Speaker 5:Oh, from when you?
Speaker 4:were, I love you, huh From when you were this big. What do you mean? You came to my Someone in my family, their wedding. Oh, okay, I think, my big sister's wedding, you and your sister. You're this tall. Oh okay, I think, my big sister's wedding, you and your sister, you're this tall.
Speaker 2:My God, I remember.
Speaker 4:You stole um. You stole the bride's sandal.
Speaker 2:He could've been me.
Speaker 4:And then I remember that asshole he could have been me, hmm. And then I remember that asshole was like oh, that's thievery. And like banished you to hell or something for it. But I'm really glad you're here because that was not cool. I'm glad you still have the sandal.
Speaker 2:You know what you can keep it.
Speaker 4:I'm the reason my sister was banished. I thought you both stole it. I mean, it's a harmless prank really, but I am also the patron saint of harmless pranks, so Uh, Lady Auntie felt like sick to her stomach. Yeah, she puts two hands out. Are you okay? Do you need a nap?
Speaker 3:No, sitara, at this point, with her one hit point, after all of this has happened, and hearing that, just I think she just she's out with one, she's unconscious.
Speaker 4:Oh, oh, I forget. She just she's out with one. She's unconscious. Oh, oh, I forget. You guys are so soft and cast Mass Healing Word on all of you, oh. Oh okay With a yawn Wow with a yawn. And you all heal 4d4 plus three, which is one, two. That's a total of three. Another one, four, another one eight hit points.
Speaker 7:Oh thank you, the sleepy healing word.
Speaker 4:Thank you for waking me up.
Speaker 3:Look around. Where is Namir? Did he run? Where is Namir?
Speaker 7:Once that battle is done and that last blow was given, I will suddenly appear near where Rakan fell. Is there any remnant of him? Ash, I reach down and grab it.
Speaker 5:This is mine.
Speaker 7:May I take this?
Speaker 6:Yeah.
Speaker 5:I don't think anyone else.
Speaker 1:You started it by saying it's yours.
Speaker 7:I want this.
Speaker 4:Was the nightmare, not a nightmare. Are you the new Toltol, tully, tulls, tully oh, I guess people call him that. Are you the new one?
Speaker 5:You look like it.
Speaker 4:You got all those cute little buggies on you.
Speaker 7:I suppose I am. Yes, that is who I. There's a lot to catch you up on. Suppose I am. Yes, that is who I. There's a lot to catch you up on, I suppose. Oh, I've replaced his daughters, oh.
Speaker 4:That's good. You're probably like a really nice person. Sometimes You're a little spooky too, but I'm also the patron saint of spookies, so I will on that note.
Speaker 7:Then I will take some of like the corner of my eye and I start to peel it down and you start to see that that very well put together mortal flesh peels away very easily and underneath it is decay.
Speaker 6:So we look a little different now, all things considered.
Speaker 7:This is for Noren and I have the ash.
Speaker 4:Oh, is she gonna eat it?
Speaker 7:Maybe Metal. I feel my time here is done, you've done, and I look around at the other, you know, probably still fleeing mortals, but I know I know there's some that I've stopped to watch. You've got many witnesses that saw what you've done for this place. You've restored balance and you have eradicated this trespasser. There is a place for everything.
Speaker 4:Yeah, and this is like my place.
Speaker 7:This is not my place, no, and I'll start to walk towards the lake, gathering up all of the ash. My place, this is not my place, no, and I'll start to walk towards the lake, gathering up all of the ash, whatever remains of Rakan, and I will wade into the water and then disappear back from whence I came, with in my hands a gift for who sent me here in the first place.
Speaker 4:Mir disappears into the depths, leaving you with one very sleepy deity I.
Speaker 1:I rush up, ash rushes up to Soslani. He says, uh, my god, oh, wow, that's a lot. Well, I've seen my father pray to you day after day.
Speaker 4:Who's your father? His name is Abhishek.
Speaker 1:Oh, day after day. Hey, who's your father? His name is, uh, abhishek.
Speaker 6:Oh.
Speaker 4:I know your family from way back.
Speaker 1:Yes, yes, he. I always felt he prayed to you instead of fathering us. Honestly.
Speaker 4:What's wrong with that? Look how great you turned out. I'm gonna neglect my future children too. Clearly it works.
Speaker 1:I don't want to do that to my child. Oh, I wish to choose another path.
Speaker 4:Well, your parents chose another path that's probably why you exist in the first place, kiddo. What do you mean? Chose another path. That's probably why you exist in the first place, kiddo. What do you mean? Well, I was gonna ask them to be my stage managers, you know, like warlocks to my cause and to Drangali. But they were like no, we're gonna like raise our kid and we're gonna go be doctors somewhere. And I was like that does not sound like fun, but you do, you. And they thought I was gonna smite them. But and I thought about it, but honestly, that's so much work and so I just let them leave to Breezalbub. I don't know, I wouldn't go there, braeselwald, that's what I said. Yeah, yeah, sorry.
Speaker 1:Beelzebub. They could have ascended, my parents could have ascended and they chose to race. Why do they barely speak to us?
Speaker 4:Well, whatever they did, they did for you. I know that your mom said that she wanted to start a family and I said well, you started one here, and she said she didn't think showbiz was a place for a kid. She wanted to teach you, you know, to care about other people, and so I took you to a place where you could ply your trade. Like I said, they fled in the middle of the night. I think they thought I was going to be really angry, but anger is just so many calories and I don't have any to spare. Why didn't you talk to them about it?
Speaker 1:About my son.
Speaker 4:About like why they left I they wouldn't tell me I. Oh, probably so you wouldn't come back here and almost be killed by a strange judgment deity from the beyond. Yes, could be. They were probably right. They never wanted me to come. I'm glad you did. I'm glad all of you did. I'm still trying to shake, I feel like I've been asleep for like three months longer than I usually am supposed to be. I only like to rest 18 months at a time.
Speaker 6:Can we get you like some chai or something like that? I would love a cup of chai.
Speaker 4:What's your name? I'm.
Speaker 6:Mirka.
Speaker 4:Hi Mirka.
Speaker 6:Hi, this is my son, Butcha.
Speaker 4:Oh my God, what a cutie pie. It's metal, right? Yeah, it's sweets and spices and love I just wanted to make sure I don't know what shape humans come in these days. Hi, little one hi.
Speaker 6:I'll just say thank you for the HP from earlier, I believe.
Speaker 2:La Duante makes you a very shaky cup of chai, because she did not herself. I don't even know if this tastes good, tbh, and I haven't even know if this tastes good.
Speaker 3:TBH, and I haven't looked. I can't, I haven't looked at you yet. You spoke of when they were banished.
Speaker 4:Oh, just little kids, they were just. You know, you always still choose at a wedding. It's like tradition. But it is a very magical sandal. How?
Speaker 2:They. The person who is banished is her mother, so how am?
Speaker 4:I here You're between worlds, kind of like a phase spider Changelings can move between Changeling.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 4:Oh, you guys didn't know that. She's like putty. She can like turn into whatever she wants. That's not really what her face looks like.
Speaker 2:Okay, wait.
Speaker 3:What? This isn't my I don't.
Speaker 4:Well, that's probably the one you chose to fit in. I get it, not everybody Looks like me after they wake up from a nap, but If we can go back and forth, how can I go to them? Well, you're the changeling. I had to think you'd know more about that than me. Maybe you just need some help figuring it out. I'm sure there's like a book somewhere or something.
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Speaker 4:Why are you sad?
Speaker 3:Because I keep asking for answers and I don't get them. I keep asking for answers and I don't get them. I keep asking for some place where I feel like I am real and all I get is more confusion.
Speaker 4:I have been told I am the deity of confusion, and so I apologize, but I can speak freely. Little sister, nothing in life is real. It's our belief that makes it tangible. What you believe is your reality that makes it tangible. What you believe is your reality is your reality, and I wouldn't give up what you have in your hands and what you have around you, blaming yourself for something that wasn't your fault to begin with and that you couldn't change. Everything is fake. Time is an illusion. There are people that can move forward and backwards with ease.
Speaker 3:An illusion move forward and backwards with ease. An illusion. Hmm. Is that mountain? Is that climbable? This one Can I like start? Can she climb up that Like a hill, like start going up? Yeah, yeah you could.
Speaker 3:Okay, she goes up as high as she can. She just silently goes up as high as she can. She just silently goes up as high as she can and out of her, uh jolly, she pulls a sanding stone on it Rakhi Rakesh Incorporated and she plays with it in her hand and she says 25 words. She says so, priya, seems I won't be seeing you after all. Funny, funny, I always knew who I married. You have no idea who you did Goodbye. And she takes the stone and she hubs it as far as she can down the mountain on the other side.
Speaker 4:Stone clatters and falls down the mountain Right.
Speaker 6:Right, marcus sees this and comes up to you and just very quietly gives you like a hug.
Speaker 3:If you don't mind hugging someone who doesn't know what she looks like.
Speaker 6:No, and he puts his arms around you.
Speaker 4:Oh, fulcelani comes and puts her arms around the both of you, just assuming she's invited. Ash loves hugs. He runs up. Thank you so much, adventurers. You're so cute like just as cute as buttons, but you're so troubled. I wish I could make it better.
Speaker 3:I forgot about, completely forgot about Auntie. I wish I could make it better. I forgot about, completely had forgot about Auntie. She's yeah, she's not in the hug, she's still there. I see her and I briskly walk up to her and I say I don't know what happens between the gods and what games they play, but I do know that there has been one person who has been with me my entire life, who has fought for me and who just fought a god for me. That is the person I love and that is the person that I will stay with.
Speaker 2:But it's my fault. No, no.
Speaker 3:What kind of God messes with the fun of a wedding? There's so many children they steal the chappals and we do the thing and we get the nose. And there's so many children they steal the chappals and we do the thing and we get the nose. And there's so many things. And that is what she banishes my parents for, or he?
Speaker 4:I thought, like you're just supposed to like bribe them and get them back, exactly Like I would have just given you like 6,000 gold and gotten my sandals back Right, that would have been a much better turnout. Like that, that's probably like what's a reasonable amount of money, like 10,000?.
Speaker 3:Very reasonable. I want to be invited to that wedding.
Speaker 4:What could a banana cost Like 700 gold.
Speaker 3:Exactly that. That's exactly what it costs. Do you have a banana? That's it, yeah.
Speaker 2:No, la Diante takes the chapel off. This chapel that has done so much for her, has wielded a lot of intimidation and she can't even look at it the same, because it's now sort of the cause of her sister and her brother-in-law's. You know absence and she just gives it to you.
Speaker 4:Why.
Speaker 2:Why I? Uh, I don't think I could look at myself with this anymore. Maybe you have a better use for it. You can give it to someone who needs it, since I am the one who took it.
Speaker 4:I have like a really random idea. I think it might work. And she takes the sandal in her hands and effortlessly crushes it into colored powder. It was Rakan's magic that bound them. She blows it on you. Do you learn the ability to cast Planar Shift? Ah, maybe, like his magic, can help me figure out how to get her out.
Speaker 3:Oh my god, I have a spell.
Speaker 2:Oh my god, what am I gonna do with a damn spell? I don't know how to do this.
Speaker 4:You guys are so funny. You panic over such little things Like the universe. It's like balanced on a needle. Okay, chaos and order go hand in hand like a beautiful dance. And I can tell I'm really late for Rangali, which means a lot of people in Lachlan are gonna be really mad at me and Nuri's definitely going to have just been my heir, nuri.
Speaker 3:Run back to where we had put her in the-.
Speaker 5:In Gauri's shawl. In Gauri's shawl she's like we put a dead body in there.
Speaker 4:Mommy is there with the dead body. Thank you.
Speaker 3:And I run to Nuri and just check if she's bounced anything something.
Speaker 4:You see her chest gently rising and falling Wow.
Speaker 3:No, I don't know what's next?
Speaker 4:Well, you need closure, you need a divorce, you need to have a better open relationship with your parents and you need to get me to my festival in Lockburn, because I've got some duties I need to fulfill.
Speaker 6:Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's it, yeah, absolutely, yeah, 100%. I well, yeah, I chose yeah that's it.
Speaker 4:Yeah, absolutely, yeah, 100% I. I chose him because he's yummy.
Speaker 6:No disagreements here.
Speaker 1:The smoking beard looks pretty great, has something happened to me.
Speaker 6:I haven't seen my reflection.
Speaker 1:Take a peek in the lake buddy. A little bit of a glow-up.
Speaker 6:I go and I peer in the lake. I reach out and grab him. Do you exist in the lake?
Speaker 4:That's up to you. Do you think you would speak to them through the murky water, or do you think you've returneded to more bonnie forest?
Speaker 7:I think I would have lingered around and I would have wanted to witness in my own way what they choose, because they were definitely curious from the moment I met them. Yeah, and if the Fixer is coming, I'll be close enough to see.
Speaker 6:So if I look in the water and you're looking back, I'll turn and go. Yeah, you're right, my reflection looks absolutely incredible. Okay, listen, we did something extraordinary this entire trip. We have barely really known each other as a collective, and yet we were able to pull our resources together and we were able to take down a vengeful god himself. Mm-hmm, that's incredible. And free another.
Speaker 4:I'm assuming you're all famous or something Kitana is very famous, as are you, lado.
Speaker 1:Ante is locally famous.
Speaker 6:Well, and you're now internationally known, world renowned. We can do anything as long as we work together. In fact, lodduwanti, the power wasn't in that individual chupple.
Speaker 2:It was in the other one.
Speaker 1:It was in the one you said.
Speaker 5:You guys took both of them.
Speaker 6:Well, the idea is it's in you and any chupple in your hand is one of the deadliest weapons that could destroy even the most powerful of deities. I know, not all of them can come back, but and I go and I'll purchase, like, as I'm saying, this, actually buy like a pair of chupples, but these ones can, and I'll infuse them with repeating shots. So now you have or sorry, returning weapon. So now you have a permanently returning chupple that doesn't come with a bunch of trauma.
Speaker 2:She puts them on with a newfound passion and confidence. Yeah, I can hit people with any shoe. Yeah, okay.
Speaker 4:So she like, so, selenia like, sits cross-legged on the floor between all of you guys, this strange saint of thieves, liars and wanderers, and she says but Joel, do you know why I play the?
Speaker 6:villain in every play. Typecasting. Typecasting is my call yeah typecasting being put in a box.
Speaker 3:I was going to say it's definitely a good award-winning move to play something that's very complex.
Speaker 6:That makes sense. Yeah, it's a demeaning role.
Speaker 2:Yeah, exactly, I don't watch plays, it's because it reminds people of two things.
Speaker 4:When all those people are throwing their fake spells and the colored powder at me, as the powder falls, they all look the same Because, despite our differences, we're all the same, with the same heartaches and the same victories and the same worries. And I am willing to play the villain. Unlike Rakan, who is a villain, was Was a villain who is a villain. Was Was a villain Because by giving something for people to rise up against, they put aside their differences and they discover the power in themselves. You've discovered power in yourselves. You've also discovered kinship, love, friendship, and maybe you've lost, but I feel like you've also gained and you'll be better for it.
Speaker 4:Even if none of this seems real right now, don't focus on what's real. When everything is gone, the only thing you'll remember is how you made people feel and how they made you feel. It has been my pleasure to be your Dungeon Master. You've all made me feel so special and I hope you feel as connected to each other and to this beautiful culture as I feel connected to each other and to this beautiful culture as I feel connected to you. This has been the Sequest I tried really hard not to laugh.

Speaker 1:He's vegetarian. Yeah, he's veg, he's veg.
Speaker 4:So um.
Speaker 3:Matt, that was the crocodile. He rolled. Well, they had a crocodile, that's why they had to get rid of him.
Speaker 1:Rest in peace.
Speaker 3:The croc had its day yeah.
Speaker 4:Is that why you?
Speaker 3:Sorry, that was distracting, that was really distracting.
Speaker 2:Camera A take three. Thank you very much.
